We are excited to announce the release of our latest software upgrade, Palette v2.0 on December 15th, 2025. This release introduces the Debian-based eLxr operating system for more efficient package management and expands GenAI capabilities supporting GGUF format with new LLM variants with automatic compilation capabilities to run on our SiMa Modalix platform.

Release highlights:

  • Introducted eLxr operating system for SiMa.ai Modalix platform
    • Modularized package management to install dependencies on standard repositories
    • Improved GUI experience & performance on the Modalix SOM
    • Run Llima demo standalone on-device without external host
  • Modularized SDK 2.0 installation via sima-cli in multiple containers with SiMa.ai for following components:
    • ModelSDK container: Compiling models
    • MPK SDK: Compiling and deploying MPK project packages
    • eLxr Cross Compiler: Cross compiling on Modalix
    • Yocto Cross Compiler: Cross compiling on MLSoC
  • New GenAI LLM capabilities with Llima
    • GGUF model format support
    • Automatic LLM compilation with auto_llm library in ModelSDK container
    • More LLM model support on HuggingFace

Palette v1.7 Release Hello,

We are excited to announce the release of our latest software upgrade, Palette v1.7 on 12 August, 2025. This release expands GenAI integration and enables seamless integration with our SoM and second generation silicon, MLSoC Modalix.

Release highlights:

  1. Bring your own LLM/VLM: Automatic graph surgery, code generation and pipeline orchestration
  2. Full multi pipeline support
  3. Expanded operator support
  4. Initial SoM support
  5. BF16 mixed-precision support
  6. C++ APIs on device and host
