For anyone who is still interested in printing loan receipts, I have great news: I have just published the Cloud app Print Loan Slips (https://developers.exlibrisgroup.com/appcenter/print-loan-slips/), which works independently of the UI as it is based on APIs. The print configuration, based on CSS, is similar to that of the bookmarklet.

I was excited to find this, but there is no way to actually print the report with the scannable barcode. Eliminating the CSS Class results in *30273000281979* . Printing to HTML = OOLT” id=”e_saw_635238_18_1_11_0″ style=”font-size:12px; font-family: ‘Libre Barcode 39 Extended Text’, cursive;font-size:30px;;” obips-clevt=”{ch:’obips’}”>*30273000281979*Screenshots are too fuzzy for the scanner to read. How to print the barcode??

Ex Libris Support advises that the configuration would be applied anywhere in the Alma UI where the name of the public user is displayed. Some examples include: the “User” repository search page, the Manage Patron Services page, and the text of the Loan Receipt Letter and Return Receipt letter.

FYI, that also changed how hold slips were printed for us. I changed the Resource Request Slip Letter to use last_name, first_name instead of just name and it’s printing correctly again. However, I don’t know if there are other places that might also be affected.

I searched the discovery.showcase.bundled.js code and I found a couple of lines of interest.

Are there similar variables available for author, call number, etc?
