The OpsMill Story

OpsMill was born from years of frustration with cumbersome automation.

Our founding team experienced the same challenges plaguing teams today: unreliable data, rigid schemas, and automation efforts that stalled because the underlying information couldn’t be trusted.

After working across companies like Juniper, Apstra, Roblox, and Network to Code, they discovered a breakthrough concept: applying Git-style version control inside a database. This vision became Infrahub, our graph-based data management platform with built-in version control, CI workflows, and peer review.

Launched in 2024 as an open source platform, Infrahub provides the reliable, flexible data layer that infrastructure automation actually needs. We’re engineers who’ve lived these problems, now building the solution we always wished we had.
