Devil’s Lake State Park in Baraboo, Wisconsin, is the state’s most visited park, drawing nearly 3 million visitors each year. Covering more than 10,000 acres, it’s part of over 27,000 acres of public land in Sauk County.
The park sits on ancestral Ho-Chunk lands, known as Tee Wakącąk (Sacred Lake), and includes ancient effigy mounds that remain culturally significant today.
