Adventure Compass

Inspiration

We were drawn to the idea and decided to give it a try

What it does

Our project suggests travel companions, travel dates, and local activities to users based on their provided information

How we built it

We utilized FastAPI, along with JavaScript and React for the frontend, HTML and CSS for the layout, and auxiliary functions using pandas and datetimes with Python. Additionally, we provided the dataset in .csv format

We're proud of successfully blending HTTP Requests with Python functions

What we learned

We learned how to integrate FastAPI with React, manage HTTP Requests and work dataset with dataframes in python using the panda's library

What's next for Adventure Compass

Our next step is to properly connect the backend information to more than one HTML file
