Inspiration

This project was inspired by the cute Sanrio characters and a mix of the opposite aesthetic to provide a contrasting vibe for users.

What it does

The project is a game that allows users to experience the game through a third person view of My Melody. The player must prompt My Melody to complete the obstacle course and defeat the final boss!

How we built it

The project was made on the Unity interface with Microsoft Visual Studios 2019 to code the program.

Challenges we ran into

Some challenges we faced were the sizing of pictures and collisions of objects. Debugging the code also took a long period of time which was especially challenging because we were on a time crunch due to some family issues that came up mid-way.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Some things we're proud of are the aesthetics of the game. Everything in the game fits and flows well with eachother and the program overall was very complex to us, especially since we're beginners.

What we learned

We learned how to persevere through tutorials and researching. We understood how to switch screens and work with different collisions involving 3D and 2D objects.

What's next for Adventure Zone

In order to improve our project, we want to include music to increase the overall atmosphere of the game. We could add more levels, increase the difficulty overtime and challenges.
