Inspiration
Every Year, the population increases by a huge rate and so does the demand for the food. It came to our notice that we lose much of the potential food supply due to factors like Late detection of crop diseases, improper crop care and seasonal phenomena, including harsh rains. So we aim to solve these problems by gathering more knowledge as well as leveraging AI in our app.
What it does, It suggests suitable crops for a particular area, taking into consideration factors like soil, weather and other factors unique to each region. It also provides ways to take proper care of said crops and suitable steps to take for better harvest. It also can detect plant diseases based on a custom model and recommend you solutions on how to treat them. We also offer a Chatbot that can guide the user through the entire process of cultivation from seeding to harvesting.
How we built it
In the frontend, we have made a web app using ReactJS as well as a mobile app with React Native for the structure and functionality of the respective apps. In the backend, we have used G Cloud for the important functions for ML models and Database Management that we have leveraged in our app and the website. Challenges we ran into
We ran into various challenges, especially deploying in firebase and fixing the CORS issue that we faced when we deployed our cloud functions in Google Cloud Console. Also while building the React-Native backed app, it was difficult to send direct images to Cloud, so it took some couple of hours to fix that too.

We learned on how to effectively use various tech stacks like Mongo DB, Firebase, Google Cloud, TensorFlow, React JS, React Native, etc. to create a very advanced app and website being able to perform complex tasks. We are very proud of what we have achieved in the 30 hours of this Frost Hack Hackathon!. ## What's next for Agrify Make constant updates to the app and increase its functionality, and diversify our target audience to expand to not just be centric to farmers but expand to people just getting into farming.
