Inspiration

sometimes students want to delve further in their interest in some subjects, or some other times students need to proceed in a further subject to achieve academic success. However, there are never softwares that can tell you what to study and where to find these resources and you need to go do the research yourself, which is really annoying. Thus, we came up with the software that can save you a lot of time in trying to find proper resources to study, and we truly think this may help.

What it does

As I said, based on the personal information that the user inputs, the bot will be able to provide a guide/suggestion on what you should study. It's even possible for the bot to provide you an URL to the learning resources. Meanwhile, the bot can also chat with you and hopefully bring you some joy during chatting, thus reduce your stress when studying.

How we built it

The software was based on python GUI, or tkinter. We firstly decided what we want the bot to do. After that, one of us built the GUI interface, and the other two built the AI system for the chatbot. At the end, we need to piece the two parts together to complete a functioning software

Challenges we ran into

Different group members have different habits when coding, and it took a while for us to get used to each other's coding style.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are pround of how we can succesfully collaborate with each other to do something at a complexity level that we have never reached before.

What we learned

We learned the importance of diving jobs to different members to enhance efficiency. We also learned how important it is to trust our teammates on their part of the job.
