Inspiration

The project was born out of the growing need for efficiency in email management, recognizing that professionals and individuals spend significant time reading, processing, and responding to emails and also the drive to leverage cutting-edge AI capabilities by our team to transform how people interact with their email inboxes.

What it does

Aiders is a Chrome extension that provides two primary functionalities:

Email Summarization:

Automatically generates concise summaries of incoming emails Helps users quickly understand the core message without reading the entire email Saves time by providing instant context and key points in a paragraph.

Email Composition:

Assists in drafting email responses using AI-powered suggestions Potentially helps in maintaining consistent communication style Reduces the mental effort required to compose professional responses

How we built it

Built as a browser extension for seamless Google (GMAIL) integration Implemented complex DOM manipulation techniques to interact with email interfaces Created event listeners to trigger summarization and composition features Implemented user interface elements within the Chrome extension
