AIggregator

Inspiration

As university students, we understand the value of time and wanted to create a tool that would streamline the process of gathering and succinctly analyzing large amounts of data, such as scientific papers. By doing so, we hoped to save time for our users.

What it does

AIggregator is a data aggregation and analysis tool that uses natural language processing (NLP) to help users collect and analyze data by summarizing inputted text. The tool is useful in that it highlights key information, aids understanding, and makes information management more effective by reducing redundancy.

How we built it

We built AIggregator using machine learning algorithms, working together in Google Collab. We used Python and pre-existing transformers to create the backend tool and used HTML to create the front end of the application.

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges we faced while building AIggregator was creating an intuitive interface packed with advanced features. We also had to overcome several technical issues related to data integration and identifying the most effective machine-learning model to solve the problem at hand.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are incredibly proud to have developed AIggregator, a tool that can help users save a significant amount of time by streamlining the process of data aggregation and analysis. We believe this tool will be especially beneficial for students and professionals who work with large amounts of data and must make quick and informed decisions. By reducing the time spent on data gathering and analysis, users can focus more on other essential tasks and projects.

What we learned

While building AIggregator, we learned a lot about the complexities of data aggregation and analysis, as well as the power and potential of advanced AI algorithms.

What's next for AIggregator

Our next goal for AIggregator is to integrate the program with a website that we are developing, allowing users to access the tool from anywhere and on any device. We also plan to continue improving and refining the AI algorithms and adding new features and functionality to make AIggregator even more useful for our users.
