What it does

It hovers over water and glides on land.

We used styrofoam and RC components

We were new to working with RC components and a reduced array of tools to at our disposal.

Driving it successfully on land

What we learned

We learned about RC components, how to wire them and troubleshoot them, and expanded our engineer mindset while testing and improving our design.

What's next for Airboat

Refinement is coming for our airboat. We will also take it to the real world, to streams and lakes with a GoPro on top of it to record amazing footage of nature. Our airboat also has potential search and rescue possibilities and environmental monitoring applications.
