Inspiration
During the Pandemic there has been an huge uptick in mental health problems. I wanted to create a way that could help students easily find their universities counseling and psychological services help number.
What it does
This uses an Alexa Skill to trigger a Lambda that uses web scraping to find the specified universities help number. It was difficult learning how to include selenium into a lambda environment and ultimately I was not able to get it fully working. I hope to continue to work on this after the hackathon.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am proud that I was able to learn so much about Alexa, Lambdas, and Web Scraping in such a short time.
What's next for Alexa CAPS
Hopefully I can continue to work on it outside of class and get selenium working with it!
