Alien Encounter

Inspiration

If COVID 19 had not existed, what would the word lockdown mean to you? To me it would mean that something severe has happened and the place is under lock and key. Then, how would we escape? In the project I have assumed that the school is under alien attack.

What it does

The player has to follow a series of questions related to the safe places in the school. Once the questions are answered, the aliens will be destroyed and the school is safe again.

How we built it

This interactive game is built using scratch programming language. There are 10 sprites and 10 backdrops.

Challenges we ran into

How to make the game interactive while asking the questions. The way we got over that: To let the player think of the answers instead of giving a fixed set of responses!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Completed the game in the given time.

What we learned

How to make the game more immersive, intuitive and interactive. Understand how a player would think.

What's next for Alien Encounter

I want to make it stage based, so that a player continues to be motivated to play the game longer and it holds the interest.
