Amazon Rock

Inspiration

We love rocks, especially rocks that draw.

What it does

Listens for a voice command for what to draw on amazon alexa, and your pet rock will draw that object on a whiteboard

How we built it

We wired a Dragonboard with a sensor mezzanine to a RedBot Inventor Kit's chassis to give it wireless capabilities. We host a server on Rockie so that he will listen for Alexa commands.

Challenges we ran into

wires.wires everywhere. Ones that fall out. a computer that needs lots of AA

Accomplishments that we're proud of

making rockie MOVE. making rockie LISTEN. Turning images to routes was fun.

What we learned

we need all the hardware. Transistors are hard to come by. H-bridges are impossible
