Inspiration

The fear and hesitation that many people have when it comes to breaking into investments and start ups etc. We thought of what if we could implement a solution to help those confidently approach such things.

What it does

Receives a variety of variables from the user input as well as the corresponding parameters to each variable. Then by taking into consideration the constraints that the user applies, it dictates whether a feasible solution exists and if so, what it is and displays the optimal strategy to the user as well has the optimal revenue/profit they would get from making such choice(s)

How we built it

For one scenario, we used streamlit. For another scenario, we modelled with flask and MongoDB

Challenges we ran into

Conflicts with having different sides of the applications to work e.g getting Flask to communicate with MongoDB as we desired Attempted rigorously to integrate streamlit Auth0 Utilising the simplex algorithm such that it can be used in a user-friendly manner Understanding how to implement simplex and how to mathematically model scenarios

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We knew none of each other and just by coincidence met in the team building session. We collaborated very well Got a good grasp of these new tools such as streamlit, MongoDB, flask etc in a short time We planned and analysed our project thoroughly, considering what features are essential and what can be added if we have spare time

How to use these very useful tools that we believe are transferrable to other situations Excellent communication (we expressed each of our expertise and preferences so that we can collaboratively work in a way where we could utilise our strengths)
