Inspiration
There is a common trend with the online generation where they are always looking to find a new way to experience connection. With the rise of snapchat, Instagram, and twitter, apps with a familiar environment and a new experience is what people are looking for. Snapchat deletes messages after 24 hours, twitter has an infamous 280 char limit, and Instagram only lets you post photos.
What it does
We decided to design and app that is completely anonymous until both participants are ready to meet in private messaging.
How we built it
Using visual studio code, html, css, javascript, jquery, php, mysql for databases, phpmyadmin for managing databases, and apache for the server.
Challenges we ran into
Our front end developer had to leave and we weren't able to pick up the slack in time.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Our well thought and unique idea, with a elegant and clean design.
What we learned
We learned a lot about what backend development takes. We also learned that we could have managed our time more wise.
What's next for Anonymates
