Inspiration
Navigating the Student Center is really annoying sometimes, and can be extremely monotonous. We wanted a program that did this for us.
What it does
Navigates to specific pieces of the Student Center
How we built it
Using Selenium and Python with Google's Chrome webdriver.
Challenges we ran into
Finding links to navigate to is really hard with a bunch of iframes/javascript
Accomplishments that we're proud of
It actually successfully navigates to certain locations. In the student center
What we learned
Working with selenium and finding elements in HTML is monotonous and difficult if you don't know where to look
What's next for ASCN
Hopefully something to navigate to multiple pages, pull information, and select most recent quarters by reading all the elements on the screen
