Inspiration
In Tanzania rain has been decreasing by 2.8mm every year since 1960. Currently, the country is experiencing increase in day and night temperature to most regions of the country including Dodoma and Dar es salaam region of Tanzania. The ongoing climate change effects, has now showing impacts to Tanzanian livelihoods to both economy and food insecurity. It affects crop grow and animal health are deteriorating, with death. From that challenge associated with climate change in Tanzania, AsGroup Organization, was Developed a tool called "AsGroup SDPs" to look on SDG Goal 13.
What it does
AsGroup SDPs, is a tool to accelerate Sustainable Development Solutions on Goal 13: Supporting Projects, Workshops and Campaigns
How we built it
It was built as a platform where we can lunch calls, offer Sponsorship opportunities and Donate Page for Sponsors, donors, partners can contribute/connect to AsGroup SDPs initiatives from everywhere over the world
Challenges we ran into
AsGroup SDPs, still facing with financial challenges to run program, which is still not yet in operation now.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are very proud that, we are already developed the tool, ready to use and connect to Climate Change endeavours.
What we learned
We learned a lot on how to fight with Climate change digitally.
What's next for AsGroup SDPs
AsGroup SDPs, is will be looking forward to seek others SDGs Global pioneers on Climate Change interventions to connect with AsGroup Organization.
