Google Calendar and Canvas
What it does
Our app ASYNCHRONOS helps students by integrating their canvas calendar with our website while taking into account their study habits and optimizing their time to ultimately improve their grades.
How we built it
We built using VSCode and coding languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
Challenges we ran into
The Canvas API was very difficult to integrate into our website as it was not cooperative. The calendar implementation was also very difficult as we struggled with incorporating events into the calendar.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The backend algorithms ended up coming out very beautifully. After spending a long time on the calendar, our implementation finally worked. Ultimately, the website looks professional and user-friendly.
What we learned
Every team member learned new implementations in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL. Our communication skills also improved.
What's next for ASYNCHRONOS
We want to integrate our grades into ASYNCHRONOS and have them update in real life.
