It’s about time for age to not get in the way of a healthy life. Alzheimer’s shouldn’t be a concern that creeps up from the dark. All it takes is a bit of planning ahead of time.

What it does

Atmen enable early diagnosis of Alzheimer's and drastically contributes to the increased quality of life with raging people. It also mitigates the healthcare expenditure and reduces overall financial burden. Atmen also improves the quality of life of the caregivers of the people with Alzheimer's disease.

How we built it

We thoroughly researched clinical studies, identified potential gaps in the current healthcare market pertaining to Alzheimer's and translated animal studies to the human body. Along with our proprietary AI and ML algorithm using random forest, support vector machines, artificial neural networks, and gradient boosting to identify the potential risk of developing Alzheimer's in the future.

Challenges we ran into

It was challenging to identify the exact impact of Alzheimer's and rate them on a scale as each individual's experience was different while having the condition. It was also a challenge to identify the right algorithm to improve accuracy and predict the most accurate outcome.

What we learned

The different stages of Alzheimer's impact the lives of people differently. It was surprising to identify the impact on not only the person who experiences Alzheimer's diseases but also the impact it leaves on their family and people around them.

What's next for Atmen

We at Atmen aim to conquer the space of Alzheimer's and provide the best quality fo care possible. Eventually, we aim to enable early detection of diseases that have a late and sudden onset that currently do not have a solid diagnostic method.
