Inspiration

I often find when absent for a day in school it's really hard to grasp concepts that were previously shown. Past solutions such as asking Ai or watching videos on topics that were shown, often didn’t fully cover what was shown in class.

What it does

Audio tutor takes an audio file of the class recording and transcribes it into text which can then be used by students there is also a chatbot to ask questions with and learn more about the topic, this chatbot now that it has information on what the class was taught can be much more specific and teach what teacher taught and in the same method.

How we built it

I used python and customtkinter for the frontend.

Challenges we ran into

Transcribing audio into text, getting links that relate to the topic and tracking productivity.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Building a fully working app in a short amount of time.

What we learned

I learned more about cv2 when making the productivity tracker.

What's next for AudioTutor

Better link suggestions and better audio transcription.
