Inspiration
We wanted to build something that would help students like us during these times where it is more difficult to focus in class.
What it does
The web app summarizes audio or text and returns a paragraph with the most important points.
How I built it
We used HTML, CSS, and Javascript for the front end. For the backend, we used Python, Flask, and SpaCy.
Challenges I ran into
Setting up the speech recognition.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
It is the first time for some of us doing front end and backend. It is also the first time for some of us using Python for a hackathon project.

How to write code for the backend.
What's next for AutoDraft
Have its own NLP model instead of using SpaCy. Also, recognize mathematical formulas as audio and convert them to text.
