  Choose a location

Inspiration: I am terrible at communicating with my family. This app will placate them and make sure they recieve updates about when I'm at the airport or when I leave home.

What it does: It allows the user to select a map location, such that when the user goes into that location with their phone, a custom message is sent to contacts of their choosing.

How I built it: android-studio using Java.

Challenges I ran into: annoying and inconsistent callbacks.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of: Fragment switching in the UI.

What I learned: Making apps can be quick and dirty and still useful.
