Inspiration

Many a time, passengers tend to get bored during long flight journeys or during layovers. Many frequent flyers would also love to interact with like-minded people and exchange opinions or ideas during a flight journey.

What it does

Aviation.io was ideated with the unique selling point of being able to provide a concept called ‘Social Seating’. Through this concept, we urge Vistara to allocate seat numbers based upon the interests of the passengers, i.e., a soccer fan can sit next to another soccer fan. The app, also, implements chat rooms wherein any logged in user can chat with others of the same interests.

How we built it

Using Java as our main language, we used Android SDK to implement the functionalities. Using ML techniques, CosmosDB, Azure we built a predictive flight delay model. Also built a chat bot using NLP and AI.
