Inspiration
Last week, one of our team member's passwords got stolen after mistakenly installing a malware in his computer. Even though the most popular password managers are trusted, all of them have a single central point of failure.
What it does
To overcome this issue we developed a decentralized password manager which stores the passwords in an end-to-end way on the Polygon Blockchain network.
B.Secure is a “Browser Extension” solves all the mentioned problems: The passwords are stored in a decentralized way, using the Polygon blockchain, hence it will never go down or get hacked
The passwords are encrypted by your private key which belongs to only you. You are the only one who can see your saved passwords.
How we built it
In order to develop B. Secure we used:
- Vanilla JS (For Chrome Extension Development)
- Polygon Blockchain
- Solidity
- Remix
- Crypto.JS
- Etheres.JS
