Inspiration
A ton of students lose items everyday. This web app provides them with a means of reclaiming their items with the help of the student body.
What it does
We have two types of users: Lookers and Finders. Finders have the ability to report an item as missing and Lookers are able to search for their item based on item title/description and location. After selecting an item, the Looker is presented with the Finder's contact information and, from there, proof of ownership and methods of return can be discussed.
How we built it
For the backend, we used Firebase. For the frontend, we used React.js. In terms of APIs, we used Google's Geocoding API
