Beginner Connect

Inspiration

I wanted to be able to make a beginner-friendly Discord bot to help people find help from others.

What it does

You can ask for help in a topic and people will help you.

How we built it

I usually use discord.py to make bots, but they have discontinued their module due to Pycord releasing and having better support. So, I will use Pycord.

Challenges we ran into

No Discord Server Image

I still do not have a server image. I may run a contest for the best one.

I couldn't send a message to a specific channel

I ended up not using sending it to a different channel.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Learning how to use Pycord.

What's next for Beginner Connect

I want to keep adding new categories.
