BioCrypt

BioCrypt is a system for unambiguously identifying people. This can be helpful in case of an emergency when critical patient data is necessary, but the patient can't be identified. E.g. after a swimming accident in the sea.

First the user registers on BioCrypt and enters their biometric markers (e.g. missing limbs, teeth configurations, attached vs. free earlobes, …) a verification image of some especially unique hidden body feature (e.g. strange mole constellation on buttocks) and their medical data (e.g. emergency contact, blood type, …).

In case of an emergency a first responder can then also identify those biometric markers and thereby generate an ID to access the medical data. To prevent false positives the first responder uses the verification image to definitely match the patient.
