Inspiration
Our inspiration for the BLK BlackJack project stemmed from a desire to combine our passion for coding with the excitement of card games. We saw the opportunity to create an engaging, educational, and fun application that would help individuals learn more about probability and decision-making.
What it does
The project is a simple BlackJack simulation that helps users replicate their experience with card games. Players can enjoy the experience of the game, testing their luck and strategy against the dealer.
How we built it
We built the program with Java through IntelliJ Idea.
Challenges we ran into
During the development process, we encountered a few challenges. Integrating the card-shuffling algorithm to ensure randomness and fairness was a particularly tricky task. We also had to optimize performance to provide a smooth and responsive user experience.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of creating a fully functional and enjoyable Blackjack game from scratch. Our team successfully tackled complex programming tasks.
What we learned
Through this project, we deepened our understanding of game development and probability. We gained valuable insights into user experience and software optimization. This project also enhanced our teamwork and project management skills.
What's next for BLK BlackJack
We aim to expand the game to include multiplayer options, allowing friends to challenge each other. We also plan to integrate a tutorial mode to help new players learn the game.
