Inspiration
College has always been challenging due to expensive book prices and the unavailability of notes. The bookstores we typically have on our college campuses are limited to our specific institution. Why not expand beyond these limitations and make the bookstore experience available everywhere?
What it does
Colleges and companies can register as bookstores to sell books, notes, and merchandise. Students and buyers can find items at nearby locations, not limited to one specific college. They can view different bookstores on Google Maps and find the items they want from various companies.
How we built it
We began by creating a bookstore similar to the ones found on college campuses, but we decided to broaden the scope and make every bookstore accessible to every student. We removed the requirement for the buyer to be associated with a specific organization, allowing them to purchase from any company or bookstore.
