Inspiration

Our sleep deprived brains, combined with our indomitable willpower culminated in a refusal to finish HackGT without putting some solid effort into learning some new skills and making something with them.

What it does

Bor-B-Gon is a revolutionary new application that represents an advent in the way we as humans spend our free time. These days, no one has time to decide on what to do when boredom strikes. Bor-B-Gon is an elegant solution

How we built it

Leveraging the Flutter software development kit and the Dart programming language- our team collaborated to bring Bor-B-Gon into the hands of users anywhere in the world.

Challenges we ran into

Our group consisted of mostly inexperienced hackers trying to learn the ropes of software development- and our unfamiliarity with the languages proved to be a fairly large hurdle to overcome.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Not one of us knew anything about flutter or dart going into this project, and we all walked away with a much better understanding of the language and framework. We were able to work together and put together a proper app all while simultaneously scavenging for food, swag, and clues.

What we learned

We've all gained exposure with how to program a mobile application in Flutter- and even how to call an API from it. In order to create a quality project, dedication and planning are necessary.

What's next for BoreBeGone

That's a great question. Who can really say? We're probably looking at an IPO or acquisition event sometime after market conditions improve and the investor markets recover.
