Inspiration

The inspiration for "Bring The Menu" sparked from our team's financial struggles, tired of the eternal struggle between satisfying our taste buds and maintaining a healthy bank account. We realized there’s a world of delicious, discounted meals out there, just waiting to be discovered. So, we decided to create a bridge between hungry students and the eateries eager to serve them, cultivating a community where flavor meets affordability!

What it does

"Bring The Menu" is your ultimate foodie companion, sourcing live data to present all nearby discounts, coupons, and specials from restaurants around your campus. Just enter your location, and voila! A plethora of options, tailored to your taste and budget. Leveraging AI, it learns your preferences and makes personalized recommendations, ensuring every meal is a delightful culinary journey.

How we built it

Our tech stack includes FastAPI for its speedy performance and MongoDB to handle data efficiently. The front end, crafted with Vue.js, offers a responsive and intuitive user interface. AI integration, the cherry on top, is powered by machine learning algorithms, honing in on user preferences to serve up tailored recommendations. Every piece is woven together to deliver a seamless, appetizing experience.
