GlowBubble

Inspiration

Our inspiration comes from our own childhood experiences where we didn't get the level of education that we should have about ourselves, our bodies, and just in general what it means to be a women. So we wanted to create a safe space for younger girls to be able to ask questions, learn things they might have never thought of before, and just for women in general to have a bit of community they can bond with.

What it does

GlowBubble allows users to ask questions that will display on our websites dashboard for our admins to answer.

How we built it

We built it using angular and typescript.

Challenges we ran into

We had to restart our project in the middle of the night because of scope, but we landed on our current idea and were able to readjust.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

That we didn't give up.

What we learned

Have a small scope for hackathon projects, then build it up.

What's next for GlowBubble

We want to add access to an ai api to use as a form of automatic moderator for the questions that get asked. Also to create a database of past questions and answers that can be looked at and searched through outside of the current board.
