We built Buddy’s Brain to simplify students' lives by making it easier to organize and access diverse academic resources.

What it does

Buddy’s Brain consolidates and summarizes digital academic resources, enabling fast, efficient search through voice and text queries.

How we built it

By integrating format-specific processing, NLP summarization, a RAG model, and MongoDB Atlas for efficient storage and retrieval.

Challenges we ran into

Some challenges we had were, implementing RAG to efficiently handle stored vector embedding, and optimizing code to hand slow API response time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We created a user-friendly platform that delivers rapid, context-aware search results, transforming resource access for students.

What we learned

We discovered the power of combining AI, NLP, and vectorization, while also learning the importance of continuous user feedback.

What's next for Buddy's Brain

Next steps include enhanced video processing, cloud drive integrations, and refining search prompts for even better accuracy.
