Inspiration
Our inspiration was seeing the frequent news of the students loan crisis. We realized how it severely impacted college students. That's why we wanted to create an app to help solve for that
What it does
Budgetzoid can track the users transactions, and put them in an interactive graph showing what the user has spent on. This will help the user know what their money is being put into, and help them manage them better.
How I built it
We built our app using Xcode and SwiftUI.
Challenges I ran into
We had trouble with the backend, as both of us are mostly frontend coders. We ended up using a database within Swift, that helped us code the final product.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
We are proud of getting our graph to be interactive. The UI of our app came out quite beautifully, and we mainly focused on the aesthetics, and having the user experience as enjoyable as possible.
What I learned
We learned how to use animation, and how to code our app to be aesthetic. We also learned how to use user defaults an Xcode database.
What's next for Budgetzoid
We plan on actually getting Budgetzoid to track their transactions, instead of having the user manually enter it in.
