Inspiration

I was inspired to make this software from a youtube who said that this project would help me land my first tech job. He said every company uses a bug-tracking software, so creating one of your own really intrigues the interviewers and they tend to really like this kind of project.

What it does

Its a bug and issue tracking web application. It keeps track of various projects, allows the creation of tickets and assigns various users to specific projects.

How we built it

It is built using Nextjs, Tailwindcss, DaisyUI components, MongoDB and Next auth.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge I ran into was handling so much data, and creating a schema where no data was repeated and was stored efficiently.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

It has a very simple and clean user interface. It also has a very beautiful dashboard that shows the progress of the user.

What we learned

I learnt more about all the technologies I listed above. I also learnt how to host on a custom domain using sites like Porkbun. Thanks to the free domain by GoDaddy Registry.

I plan to work on it more.
