Inspiration
Hitting the gym consistently showed me how powerful tracking progress can be, but I struggled to find an easy way to log my gains. That frustration inspired me to create an app that simplifies tracking workouts, helping others stay motivated and see their improvements over time. Now, my goal is to make fitness tracking effortless so people can focus on pushing their limits and reaching new goals.
What it does
This app allows people to track their progress in the gym by counting calories and providing food options based on those calories. People can see their progress, keeping them motivated towards reaching their goals.
How we built it
This was built using Java, Spring Boot, Typescript, React native, and MongoDB (using Atlas).
What's next for BulkBuddy
I would like to add support for Apple's HealthKit to the app in order to allow people to import their workouts instead of adding them manually. Also, I would like to get geolocation information for restaurants to show them on a map.
