Inspiration

Wanted to advertise on podcasts but their are only 3 networks and they only represent the top 600 or so podcasters out of the 10 million creators.

What it does

Bundlecast is the self-serve advertising network for podcasters and advertisers of any size. Because we “bundle” similar podcasts as a single media buy, Bundlecast can support advertising campaigns small and large.

Bundlecast also delivers advertisers the most effective audio ad format – the “live read.” Hosts personally read ads during broadcasts infusing them with a unique intimacy unparalleled in advertising

How I built it

I'm not a great programmer so had to rely on php/mysql. I know, I know it's dated, but I wanted to get as much done as possible in 48 hours to create a viable MVP.

Challenges I ran into

I worked alone. My second programming partner has some serious eye health issues and can't work on a computer more than a couple hours at a time.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We live in a media-sound bite world. I'm proud to give the independent voices who create podcasts a simple path to monetization giving them added incentive to grow.
