Inspiration

What it does

Bunkr will let you look up a destination city along with the dates you're planning to stay. It will then recommend you not only a hotel to stay in, but connect you with someone else using our service that's planning to travel to the same city at the same time. This allows you to not only potentially save money, but make a new friend.

How we built it

Bunkr was built with node.js and a MongoDB database, in conjunction with the Azure platform, the Trip Advisor API and the Google Geocoder API.

Challenges we ran into

We had some difficulties getting Azure to fully work, as well as our chat system.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of the product we've built, and that we were able to put together all the different systems we had been working on.

What we learned

We learned how to integrate node.js with a MongoDB database.
