Inspiration
Don't you hate it when meetings are cluttered. You've got a meeting upcoming with your CEO/CIO and you've also got a meeting at the same time with your team. Which one do you decline? Which one do you accept.
What it does
CalAd syncs your Google Calendar and allows you to add priorities to the event. Taking into account your organisation hierarchy as well as various other factors, and suggests to you to which events you should decline and which you should accept.
How we built it
- Currently powered by dumps (using the backend API)
Challenges we ran into
- Google Calendar APIs are poorly documented
- Backend to frontend connector not working

- Got google calendar data to play with
- Got the general gist of the idea completed

What's next for CalAd
- Expand CalAd to incorporate org hierarchy from data source such as SAP, Facebook Workplace, etc.
- Expand CalAd for events such as conferences (Google NEXT, etc.) where you got mulitple sessions.
