I worked on interfacing the data processed from the Google Mobile Vision API with the Android Calendar API. I used text-processing techniques to format date and time fields.

I was involved in the decision making process to select an OCR API. I selected and interacted with a Calendar API. I identified and fixed fatal bugs.

I integrated the Mobile Vision API and handled interacting and receiving pictures from the camera and image gallery. Also worked on exception handling.

I did most of the UI work for the main activity, i.e. creating/designing icons, creating the push buttons, picking the palette, and prototyping different designs. Along with this, I helped debug and discuss running problems throughout the project.

I created the start screen activity that the user interacts with first when they open the app. I also worked on the backend logic of getting the information for a calendar event from the text returned from the Google Mobile Vision API. I also managed the github repository and resolved merge conflicts that popped up.
