Inspiration

The need for smarter, context-aware communication solutions inspired us to create CallWise. Our goal was to transform traditional IVR systems by leveraging advanced AI to deliver real-time, intelligent responses and seamless customization—all without relying on an internet connection. This vision led to the creation of Echo, our revolutionary AI agent callbot that redefines how businesses and individuals interact with technology, making communication smarter, faster, and more adaptable.

What it does

Echo is powered by SambaNova’s API, delivering intelligent, real-time responses on calls without the need for internet access. It also features Call Wise AI Studio, an online platform where users can create APIs for context-aware AI agents trained on their own data. These APIs can be seamlessly integrated into personal projects or used with the ECHO AI Agent Toolkit to design and deploy custom AI agents effortlessly.

How we built it

We used:

SambaNova API for leveraging powerful LLM capabilities.
Flask to create the backend for handling calls and API requests.
Twilio for phone call management and integration.
Deepgram for real-time transcription.
A user-friendly website interface to allow users to generate custom APIs and integrate them into projects.

Challenges we ran into

Ensuring real-time responses without internet posed significant challenges in optimization and handling latency.
Designing a platform that’s both powerful and easy to use required careful balancing between technical complexity and user experience.
Seamless integration of APIs into diverse use cases meant rigorous testing and iteration.

A Note on Live Demo

Currently, our hosted call bot is running on Twilio’s free account, which means it can receive calls from registered numbers only. However, we’d be more than happy to provide a live demo of our AI Agent call bot to showcase its capabilities. In the future, we plan to upgrade to Twilio's paid plan to make it more accessible for everyone.
