Problem Statement

Mental Health Companion App Build an app that provides mindfulness exercises, mood tracking, and access to mental health resources. Integrate a peer-support feature (that may be anonymous or if both users chose, share details like username and avatar) for community building and reduce stigma around mental health.

Inspiration

  1. Growing Demand for Mental Health Support is the first and foremost thing that inspired us to invent CalmCircle.
  2. The Diverse App Categories is the second reason. Existing apps fall into various categories, such as:
Mindfulness and Meditation: Apps like Calm and Headspace focus on meditation techniques to help users manage stress and anxiety.
Mood Tracking: Apps like MindDoc allow users to track their emotional health through regular check-ins and provide insights over time.
Peer Support: Platforms like TalkLife foster community support, enabling users to share experiences and reduce stigma around mental health. We want to bring them all into a one single app.

What it does

Introducing CalmCircle, your personal mental health companion. Our app offers a suite of tools designed to enhance your well-being, including guided mindfulness exercises, mood tracking, and access to valuable mental health resources. But what truly sets CalmCircle apart is our peer support feature, which connects you with a community of individuals who understand your journey. Whether you want to share experiences anonymously or engage openly, CalmCircle fosters a safe space to reduce stigma and promote healing. Join us in building a supportive environment where everyone can thrive mentally and emotionally.
