Camping Forecast

Camping Forecast is an Android app that receives the weather for any given location and recommends what camping gear you should pack. Users can choose a location on a map, or input geographic coordinates. The app can extract weather data from both the past and the future from these locations. Camping Forecast will generate tailored gear recommendations for any situation.

I worked on the Google Maps API, as well as debugging. I also planned and designed architecture of the project. This was my first experience with Android Studio, but I had a great time.

I worked on the weather API and on the appearance of the app. I have never used Android Studio before but it is pretty easy to use

Drew Williams
I worked on the visual aspects of the project, including adding elements (buttons, text panels and text boxes) to the different activities in the app and making sure they work properly. I also implemented up navigation to the different pages of the project to make sure the users can navigate freely throughout the app. I helped the team to debug and fix any errors within the code that they were working on.
