My main inspiration comes from my love for puzzle games and electronics. I thought, "Why not combine the two?" The concept is straightforward: create a game that teaches the basic concepts of resistors in series and parallel circuits in an engaging way.
I delved into Unity and C# to learn how to use features like slot holders and drag mechanics, which were essential in making the game interesting. I also did most of the artwork for the game myself.
The most challenging part of the project was figuring out how to calculate and store the equivalent resistance in the game, especially when dealing with both series and parallel circuits. To solve this, I came up with the idea of slot filling, where players have to ensure that each slot contains the correct resistor.
I hope that this game can help people learn about resistors while having fun at the same time!
