Inspiration

Humanity is releasing Carbon into the atmosphere at a higher rate than ever before, which is why we decided to make a website to show what was happening in real time.

This website shows the extreme speed that humanity is releasing carbon every second This website also provides context on what sectors of our economy are releasing carbon

We are proud of how the website is able to show the magnitude of the amount of Carbon released every second.

We learned how to create a static background image and dynamically update a div.
