Inspiration

Global warming is affecting the earth by warming our planet so we want to help people by reducing carbon footprint, and diet can be a start

What it does

It calculates how much carbon footprint you create by your diet

How we built it

We used languages like HTML, CSS and Python and coded it in VSCode. Python was used for the back-end of the website while HTML and CSS was used for the front-end of the website

Challenges we ran into

Github didn't work for a while, connecting the back-end and front-end, Everyone didn't know Python Flask, and the designing part of the website

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Coming up with an original idea, the calculations and completing the backend and frontend connections

What we learned

Learned how to brainstorm, improvise, and new languages (further knowledge of new languages)

What's next for CarbonBite

Adding more categories that effect your carbon footprint (such as transportation)
