Inspiration

Innovating child safety in an aesthetically pleasing way.

What it does

will monitor a child's temperature and send notifications to the parents/guardians phone-through an app; telling them when they're baby's temperature rises or decreases.

How I built it

Using a combination of two soft, newborn safe fabric to create a flexible, yet comforting band with temperature sensory technology embedded inside the lining.

Challenges I ran into

Figuring out the correct blend of fabric for baby safety and the correct equipment for connecting the sensor to an app.

What's next for Care-Safe

Possible expansion into cancer-patient safety; maybe even begin detection in heart rate, breathing, and possible poisons in the environment around the wearer.
