Inspiration
Every college student knows, there comes a time when you need to make a choice: pay your bills, or buy more burritos. Cashpotle aims to help students make this precious decision.
What it does
Cashpotle asks the user for two inputs: something they are paying for and how much it costs. It then calculates how many chipotle burritos they could buy instead.
How I built it
This website was built with HTML, CSS, and javascript.
Challenges I ran into
We ran into a lot of trouble trying to pass the information from the first form to the second page of the site.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
We are very proud of the design and user interface of the website. We are also proud of how we were able to combine our design with web development to execute our ideas.
What I learned
We learned a lot about making websites and writing in HTML. We both had a little experience in HTML before, but this has greatly expanded upon what we knew.
What's next for Cashpotle
We hope to deploy Cashpotle on its own domain and help college students around the country.
