Inspiration
We use pomodoro to study all the time. We wanted to create our own custom version of it with a space theme.
What it does
It is a timer and to-do list that lets you keep track of your time as well as what you have to do.
How we built it
We built it using VueJS (front-end), Golang (back-end), and PostgreSQL (database).
Challenges we ran into
We built a server to have accounts for custom to-do lists, but unfortunately we didn't have the time to connect it to the front-end. We also made more custom backgrounds but didn't have time to implement them.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are very proud of the artwork we created. We made all of them ourselves on our computers.
What we learned
We learned a lot about front-end and back-end development as well as working as a team in a time crunch.
What's next for Celestial Timer
We want to connect the front and back ends as well as a setting for multiple timings. Additionally, we want to create a discord bot to expand the functionality of this application.
Credits
We used W3 Schools for the todo list and login as well as mux and pq on the server
